Attendance
Students must attend at least 80% of the total class meetings to pass the class and receive credit (16 of 20 activity hours).
Each student is allowed a maximum of 2 “absences”, regardless of the reason for the absence (this could be a live meeting or recording one of the independent activity sessions). Absences (Definition): missing a movement session by not logging participation by the deadline.
Be on time. If you are late (> 5minutes) and/or leave early, it will be recorded, and two instances will result in an absence.
Injury and Illness: If illness or injury causes, or will cause, you to be unable to actively participate, please communicate right away. If this happens during weeks 1-7, we will ask you to drop the class.
Make Ups: You must communicate with me within 48 hours of an absence if you would like to complete a make-up. I will work with students in extenuating circumstances beyond what is described on an individual basis.
*If you miss a lab I cannot guarantee you will be able to get certified. Talk to me about your options if this is the case for you.
