This course is an introduction to the Global Business, Ethics and Politics. The core of the course is how global business operates with emphasis on the influence of ethics, social responsibility, political and geopolitical issues. It is focusing on the contemporary debates over the political, social, ethical, legal and economic consequences of the globalization of markets and societies. Beginning with broader themes about globalization and its implications, the course proceeds to survey the dynamics of global business infused by politics and ethics. Topics include the role of politics, culture, trade, trade barriers, regional trade agreements, global institutions, international trade organizations, emerging markets, and
political risk.
