Estudios de cultura popular' seeks to explore the relationship held between history and the elements of popular culture and their association with language, as described in the "guía básica del grado en Lenguas Modernas" planned for this course. This involves the analysis of print and audiovisual texts from a multidisciplinary perspective (sociology, linguistics, literature, gender studies, media studies, history, etc.) and, often, within a multimodal approach. This course is strongly related to other cultural studies courses in the degree in Modern Languages. Learning outcomes: On successful completion of the course students will be able to critically describe the relationship between elements of popular culture and language use
