Course Description: This course is for students in the 200 and 300 levels to help them improve their speaking skills. Students will be given opportunities to practice various communicative functions (for example, opening and closing a conversation, apologizing, giving an opinion) by working in pairs and in small groups. In addition, there will be homework and assignments to help reinforce learning and to build confidence with the skills presented in class. Evaluation: Attendance 25% Participation 15% Tests and assignment 60%
