In this course, students are invited to reflect on the interplay between interculturality and media discourses. This course draws on a wide range of concepts and theories, primarily from Intercultural Communication and Cultural Studies, to help students understand how interculturality is constructed of and constructive of media discourses. Using examples from a wide range of media types and different contexts, the course will invite students to critically reflect on their own media practices and to draw connections between theory and everyday experiences.
