The course is designed for students who want to improve communication skills in preparation of academic studies in English and anyone wishing to develop general English language communicative competence. Learners will develop a variety of general English language skills: to discuss and debate on a variety of academic and social topics, to improve accuracy as well as further develop their fluency, to develop an ability to vary register according to the context, to practice in guessing the meaning of unknown words and to develop and accurately deliver presentations. The forms of studies include classroom seminars, self-study tasks, in virtual MOODLE environment (e.g. on-line tasks, discussion forums, interactive exercises).

このコースは、英語でのアカデミックな学習に向けてコミュニケーション能力を向上させたい学生や、一般的な英語コミュニケーション能力を伸ばしたい方を対象としています。 アカデミックなトピックや社会的なトピックについてディスカッションやディベートを行い、正確性を高めるとともに流暢さをさらに向上させ、文脈に応じて音域を変化させる能力を養い、未知の単語の意味を推測する練習をし、プレゼンテーションを発展させ、正確に伝えることができるようになります。 学習形態は、教室でのセミナー、自習課題、バーチャルMOODLE環境（オンライン課題、ディスカッションフォーラム、インタラクティブ演習など）などがある。
