The module aims to help students classify and analyse
the range of non-traditional platforms for the delivery of
creative texts, and to raise ideas about how these might
be used for their own creative practice. Whilst primarily
focused on existing digital platforms, primarily in social
media and internet forms, it also considers such
platforms as installations, projections and discrete non-
textual media delivery systems for creative writing.
Through an understanding of the forms and features of
such 'alternative texts', the students will produce
creative work of their own which uses such platforms.
