FDU YOGA CLASS INFORMATION
Yoga is the science of right living, which can be incorporated into our daily lives. It covers all aspects of the individual: physical, mental, and emotional. This harmony is accomplished by doing certain practices called Hatha Yoga, which are physical postures that relax the body and calm the mind. The yoga postures for most people are a familiar starting point to accomplish this balance.
According to medical science, yoga is a successful therapy that balances the endocrine system, balances and relaxes the nervous system as well as relaxes the muscles, and reduces stress. In this semester, we will be learning the different stretches and breathing techniques that will create this harmony and balance.
