COURSE DESCRIPTION
Spanish 121-123 is a comprehensive beginning Spanish course series which includes instruction and practice in all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The class will be conducted almost exclusively in Spanish.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the quarter you will be able to:
•demonstrate oral proficiency in Spanish with emph0asis on pronunciation, speaking, and understanding.
•use basic grammatical structures.
•demonstrate ability to write in Spanish.
•demonstrate an understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures and their relationship with English-speaking U.S. culture.
•demonstrate awareness of the importance of effective communication in an increasingly global society.
