COURSE INFORMATION:
Course Description: As a society we are living in an era of rapid globalization in which it is imperative to be able to communicate and function within a global world, i.e. diverse workplaces/ classrooms, cities, neighborhoods and so much more.
Our Intercultural Communication course will use experiential learning methods and workshops that are designed to increase intercultural communication competency.
Course Outcomes: At the completion of this course, students should be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of intercultural communication competence.
Develop leadership skills.
Improve confidence within an intercultural public speaking setting(s).
Improve listening skills.
Participate effectively in a group.
