1) Course Objectives This course will provide learners with the strategies for learning English vocabulary and the study skills required for academic success. Through in class delivery, learners will build vocabulary for informal and formal situations as well as skills to communicate effectively in English. Particular attention will be paid to vocabulary and phrases commonly used in conversation, reading and writing, and improving delivery techniques when giving presentations.
