The course summarizes the approaches, interpretative and conceptual frameworks of modern communication theory. The course aims at providing an introduction into the characteristics and role of theory building in communication studies, which can serve as a starting point for students to understand, analyse and investigate communicative phenomena in the practice of their profession. In the theoretical part of the course, these theories will be explored in detail, while in the practical part, communicative tasks will be applied in practical context, in relation to the theoretical findings. The course aims to develop critical thinking and analytical skills to understand and apply communication theories to real-world contexts.

この授業では、現代のコミュニケーション理論におけるアプローチ、解釈的・概念的枠組みをまとめる。 授業の目的は、コミュニケーション学における理論構築の特性と役割について導入を行い、それを出発点として学生が自身の専門的実践におけるコミュニケーション現象を理解・分析・探究できるようにすることである。 授業の理論的部分では、これらの理論を詳しく探究し、実践的部分では理論的知見に関連づけながら、コミュニケーションに関する課題を実際の文脈で応用する。 また、本授業は批判的思考力と分析力を養い、コミュニケーション理論を現実の状況に理解・応用できるようにすることを目指す。
