An explanation of how each of the smaller assignments are graded is provided with that assignment. Larger assignments (Essays) will have a rubric outlining the criteria and the number of points for each criterion. Please note, it will not be possible to do well in this class if you skip one of the 3 major projects.
【Late Work Policy】
Be sure to pay close attention to deadlines! Our expectation is that you complete all the work in this class on time. However, if you have an extenuating circumstance, you should contact us immediately! There are times when life happens and makes things difficult. We do not excuse work, but it is possible that we can work out a schedule for completion. Please note that it is better to turn in something on time than nothing at all.
Most assignments have a grace period until midnight on the date they are due—no more unless you have made prior arrangements with us. Be sure to check canvas for each assignment so that you know what the cut-off time will be.
