This class is categorized as a social science class that fulfills “BG Perspectives” requirements for providing international perspective requirements. Students also receive BGP credit for “International Perspectives.” International Studies is a cross-disciplinary program, and thus provides perspectives and theoretical frameworks of analysis from such diverse disciplines as economics, political science, history, geography, sociology, ethnic studies, women’s studies, foreign language studies, and journalism and media.
