Learning outcomes: On completion of this course the student will be able to - identify and describe varying theoretical frameworks and conceptualizations of intercultural communication competence research - present and discuss the research applications in various fields (e.g. education, business, social work, development work) - critically analyze, compare and evaluate earlier research and applications - compare methods of measuring and evaluating intercultural competence - develop new insights and contributions to earlier approaches.
