①This course aims to be a comparative study of films and literary study. Through watching literature-based movies, the learners will learn some methodology to analyze those literary works they have studied or might study in literature classes. Some film theories will be given and interpreted as those concerning literary theories for discussing some specific features of the films to be seen and based on some representative works in literature. The works to be chosen will cover many aspects such as philosophy, psychology, or cultural studies to enhance the perspectives of the learners. The final aim of the course is to let the learners learn and enjoy literary works through movie-watching.
