① Course Objectives This course aims to help students understand Korean society and culture and improve their adaptability to Korean society. Students will learn about Korean history, people, beliefs, customs, values, and culture and develop multicultural perspectives. ② Weekly Topics and Plan The course includes topics such as Korean history, modern history, family and marriage, religion and customs, geography and traveling Korea, art and traditional culture, and Hallyu including K-drama, film, K-pop, and other cultural content. Students will complete individual reports and group presentations. ③ Textbook / References Textbook: TBA (To Be Announced) ④ Grading Method Grades will be based on group presentations, an individual mid-term report, and an individual final term paper.
