心理学の基礎を学ぶ科目です。生まれたばかりの赤ちゃんのときから思春期までの心理的発達、そして大人になってからのPeer pressureや、 Gender role、Sexuality、文化による心理の違いなど幅広く心理学をを学びます。基本的にはリーディングをクラスまでに終わらせ、知識を得た上でクラスに参加し、そこでは実際の実験動画などをクラス全体で見ます。 An examination of the basic concepts, processes, theories, and empirical findings concerning the behavior of organisms. Consideration is given to the following topics: physiological and developmental basis of behavior, sensory and perceptual processes, states of consciousness, learning and memory, and motivation and emotion, as well as personality, intellectual functioning, psychopathology, and social influences on behavior.
