In addition,students will be able to form a rudimentary understanding of social development in contemporary China and how that development shapes Chinese society. 実施方法: Class Lectureの他に,AssessmentとしてOn-line Quizzes,Current Events Paper,Online Discussion, Reflection Paper and Group Research Projectが授業内容として用意されている。On-lineと名のつくものは、全てFIUのfiu black boardというオンライン上のページから提出。週2回の授業(Class Lecture)と並行して、各自fiu black boardでのquizzesやドキュメンタリー動画の視聴,paperの提出あり。また、学期末にグループワークのプレゼンあり。 授業の進め方例:WEEK13 (11/17 and 11/19) pre-class-reading: Ch. 7 (Gamer), Ch.22-24(Dillon) Class Lecture: China's foreign policies and IR Assignment: Online Quiz 8, Current Event Paper#6, watch the documentary#7 and write reflection papers ☆On-line Quizzes are based on/related to each week's reading and lecture materials. ☆Current Events Paper: each student write a current event paper to tie the knowledge obtained from this course with the actual world. 時間数の算出方法:　1 class =75min, 1week=2class=150min 14weeks×150min=2100min 総時間数:2100minutes
