授業目的:Students will be able to
・Provide the students with current industry language and terms including but not limited to customers service and its importance in the industry.
・Illustrate to the students the size and make up of all the venues associate with the industry and identify advantages and disadvantages of a career in hospitality.
・Acquaint the students with dimensions and scope of the industry including travel trends and research, while also exploring and differentiating the many career opportunities available.
実施方法:Teaching Methodology
1. Online Lecture:from the instructor and several occasions from guest speakers.(Students will take lectures
through the online)
2. Outside "real life" research papers: Students will write 2 papers about hospitality industry.
3. Take quizzes, tests and write ideas on discussion on online board:
※オンライン上の講義と手元にある教科書で各チャプターを学び、小テストと中間、期末テストを受ける。
1週間に一度、Discussion Board と呼ばれるFIUのオンラインサイトに、教授から出題される宿題に自分の考えを書き、クラスメイトとオンライン上でディスカッションをする。
時間数の算出方法:オンラインで受けるクラスのため、授業時間、日時は定められていない。
