授業目的:This course is for non-science majors which introduces students to basic concepts in chemistry and applies those concepts to contemporary issues such as air/water pollution, energy and food production, drugs, nutrition, and toxic chemicals in our life. Pre
requisites: One year of high school or college algebra.
実施方法:Class Lecture and 3 exams, Grading: 3 exams (331/3% each, third exam is a cumulative final)
授業実施方法は、シラバスに従い、1-7までの講義を受けた後、マーク方式の50問のマーク式Exam1を受け、それが終わると8-10を学びExam2を受ける。なお、Exam3の内容はCUMMULATIVE。Students did not need to buy textbook, but students needed to attend every class and take notes from lecture.
