Principles of Marketing examines the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods, and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives. This three credit, upper division course also examines those challenges and opportunities faced by marketers as they attempt to move goods and services from producers to consumers and users. The business faculty considers Principles of marketing a foundation course. It provides those basic concepts needed for an understanding of other courses in business.
