GCOM 266 Introduction to Multimedia provides students with a strong foundation in the many ways to create, render, optimize, organize, and share multimedia content. Students will build a website and then populate it with projects focusing on sound, video, animation and movement over time. Classes will involve lectures, demonstrations, reading assignments, and hands-on experiences. Resources will include book readings and instruc-tor created pdf files. Work will include individual projects on each software package throughout the semester, and with one major comprehensive final project.
