T/Th 1:30–3:50 実技とも言えますが、理論などを勉強するためどちらかというと講義にあたります。 講義の中で絵の具などを使い、色の作り方や色の組み合わせについて学びます。 Principles of color theory and application with emphasis on: Objective color principles such as the color wheel and color relationships using acrylic paint. Subjective responses toward color such as physical and emotional qualities inherent in color and color relativity. During the second half of the quarter, the class will progress from color exercises, allowing students to utilize knowledge in more personalized and expressive compositions. Students are expected to: Attend all class sessions for the entire scheduled time. Participate in critiques by completing assignments on time. Contribute to class discussions regarding readings, slide lectures, and critiques. Fulfill all in-class assignments. Present a final portfolio of completed assignments and paintings.
