This course is designed to introduce students to the benefits of group cycling for cardiovascular health and leg conditioning. It
includes guidelines for students to create and maintain their own programs, how to determine intensity levels, and offers students the
opportunity to practice different training methods in an instructional setting. Course topics include: anatomy, proper technique, injury
prevention, and goal setting and evaluation. Evaluation is pass/fail and based on attendance and participation, several small
assignments, and a final.
