This is the finance course offered to students in School of Business. Through classroom instruction, students will review order of operation, ratio, proportion, percent, basic algebra and graphing. The student will reliably demonstrate the ability to: perform basic algebraic operations, solve simple equations, rearrange formulae, solve systems of linear equations, construct basic graphs from equations as well as raw data, solve business problems involving linear equations, ratios and proportions, percents and percent increases and decreases.
