The course examines the various ways conflict and intercultural communication intersect. Various theoretical and practical issues are discussed. Learning outcomes: On completion of the course the student will be able to - identify and describe major theoretical and practical frameworks of conflict in Intercultural communication contexts - present and discuss the ways in which conflict differs culturally - critically analyze, compare and evaluate conflict research and applications - develop new insights and contributions to conflict approaches both in theory and practice, including ethical considerations.
