Class Times: MWF; 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
This five-credit course will encourage students to think critically about ethical issues that are of social, political, and personal importance. Students will learn both ethical theory and how to apply theories to important topics in applied ethics. Theory will be taught throughout the course as needed when relevant to the weeks' topics. Some topics include: euthanasia, animal ethics, and the ethics of abortion.
