Case could be interpreted as a set of circumstances or conditions, or at the minimum, a
case is a phenomenon specific to time and space. Case study is defined by interest in individual
cases (Robert Stake, 1998), it is a transparadigmatic and transdisciplinary heuristic that
involves the careful delineation of the phenomena for which evidence is being collected
(VanWynsberghe and Khan, 2007). Asian case workshop attempts to concentrate on studying
cases from but not limited to Asian economies, one objective of this course is develop students'
Asian expertise, cross cultural competence, and social responsibility to partially fulfill the
mission of SolBridge. In Asian case workshop, we highlight the cases from Vietnam and
Indonesia.
