SolBridge Mission & Course Objectives SolBridge International School of Business is committed to educating the next generation of Asian thought leaders. Through research and scholarship we seek to contribute to and enrich the understanding and practice of management within the for-profit, not for-profit and governmental environments. Through our teaching, learning and engagement with the business world, and with the support of our staff, we aspire to ensure our faculty and students acquire who will be equipped with Global Perspective, Asian Expertise, Creative Management Mind, Cross Cultural Competence, and Social Responsibility, and this course contributes to fulfill the mission of SolBridge from various perspectives. Case could be interpreted as a set of circumstances or conditions, or at the minimum, a case is a phenomenon specific to time and space. Case study is defined by interest in individual cases (Robert Stake, 1998), it is a transparadigmatic and transdisciplinary heuristic that involves the careful delineation of the phenomena for which evidence is being collected (VanWynsberghe and Khan, 2007). Asian case workshop attempts to concentrate on studying cases from but not limited to Asian economies, one objective of this course is develop students' Asian expertise, cross cultural competence, and social responsibility to partially fulfill the mission of SolBridge. In Asian case workshop, we highlight the cases from Vietnam and Indonesia.
