This course is about how best to approach various cultures in a global community as
future global leaders and aims to equip students to be excellent leaders in what is an
ever-increasing diverse and globalised workplace. This course specifically focuses on
cross-cultural managers and cross-cultural organisations because the challenges that
face global leaders are often different from the challenges that domestic leaders face.
The economic, environmental, political, religious and cultural differences are greater
than the challenges faced domestically. By exploring the rise of the global leader as well
as the context in which these leaders must perform their duties, students acquire
frameworks for assessing how to approach leadership in a global sphere.
