Course Description Sociology is the study of human society and social interactions. Using sociological concepts and perspectives, students analyze issues relating to inequalities, the family, education, religion, politics, the economy, population trends, and social change. By applying sociological concepts to various aspects of Canadian and global societies, students develop a deeper understanding of how people are affected by the society in which they live.
