Goals
This course is intended for Intermediate II level students who wish to improve their oral expression and comprehension skills in English. Classroom activities target the comprehension and production of oral messages and communicational interaction. The course content is based on social and cultural themes of general interest that deal with the North American reality. This course allows students to follow a discussion on academic topics and current affairs and to express themselves with precision using the appropriate vocabulary to meet the expectations of an English-speaking interlocutor. At the end of this course, students will be able to participate in discussions in a variety of contexts.
