<授業の目的・計画> 1. Identify and analyze the North American hotel industry in terms of size, scope, and importance with particular emphasis on the different types and classes of hotels. 2. Relate the function of the Rooms Division to the overall operational environment and the structure of the accommodation property 3. Analyze the roles in Rooms Division (front office, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance) play in order to satisfy quality guest services and ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction by providing hospitality services in a professional manner and to perform effectively as an accommodation/rooms operations team member. 4. Identify and describe four stages of the guest cycle. 5. Evaluate the techniques used within a room reservation system by discussing the sales dimension of the reservations process and identify the tools managers use to track and control reservations 6. Discuss the logical and sequential steps when checking a guest into and out of a hotel 7. Summarize front office accounting fundamentals and describe the process of creating and maintaining front office accounts and identify the procedures related to the night audit and account settlement process. 8.
