This course deals with the concept of culture and how it can affect your current and future studies/ employment within the Tourism industry. The course is very interactive as the teaching style is "experiential learning". This means that the seminars are very interactive and require a high level of participation and preparation. The course deals with various aspects of culture such as value, beliefs, and assumptions and how they impact areas such as customer services, group work, and team leadership in professional tourism settings.
