Biol 1080 will introduce you to some of the basic concepts of marine science and the organisms living in the ocean. This course will begin with a basic background in oceanography, biology, and ecology. The course will then focus on basic groups of marine organisms. The course will conclude with a focus on specific environments in the ocean.
