It has been 3 weeks since I got here, everything is going on the right track. The first week was all about getting familiar with the neighborhood, knowing where the classrooms were and also the location of nearby supermarkets and restaurants. In the second week, I got all my enrollments done. I was recommended some paper that varies from level 5 to 7. Level 5 paper is the university entry level, it is more about academic skills, such as how to write or read. I found level 5 paper is very challenging because the requirements are relatively stringent. The level 6 paper I took is about improving pronunciation. This paper quite fit our situation and it is a stress- free class. Half of the class wants to improve their pronunciation and the rest want to help you improve. You don't need to tense yourselves all the time and listen to the lecturer like the other class. I also picked East Asian Values and Beliefs, it is a level 7 paper, so the lecturer expect more of the students. It is a small class, everyone will be able to share their ideas freely.
