June
Finally, my study in Seattle finished. I still can't believe that I had stayed in U.S. for 10 months. Time passes so fast. I'm glad to come here. I could meet lots of important friends and make precious memories. Also, that was the first time to live such a long time without my family. I became independent than before and grew a lot. I'm so appreciate to my family to have such a wonderful opportunity also my friends who meet in U.S. They helped me a lot and made good memories with me. I hope my experience make my future better.

I had my birthday in this month. My friends coming over at my house and celebrate my birthday. I'm glad to have such a nice friends and spend my birthday in U.S. Also, I did BBQ with my Korean friends. It was still cold in Seattle so a little bit hard to stay outside. The BBQ was totally Korean style, but that was so delicious than I expected. There is a lot of Korean restaurant so recently I like explore these restaurant. I have liked Korean food since I came here.

April.
Spring quarter has begun. It is still cold in Seattle. However, rain is gradually decreasing. I moved to apartment from share house. I live with a Japanese and an American friends. My house is really close to school and rent is cheap. We share kitchen, living room and washer. I have own bathroom. Our life style is different so we don't meet so many times. We can respect private each other. but if we can make a time, we make dinner together and also go shopping. This style is so comfortable and easy to live for me. The American housemate works at sushi restaurant, so he made sushi for us. It was so delicious. Seattle has a lot of Japanese food restaurant so if I want to eat it I can eat anytime.

I went to California with my friends. My friend have a house in California so he let us stay there. We stayed there for 7 days and he take us a lot of nice place. I could go to Disney land, California adventure, Universal studio Hollywood, Santa Monica beach and so on. I had a awesome trip! Spring vacation will start soon. The quarter will be my last quarter. I am surprised that how fast time goes by. I'll spend the rest of time in a meaningful way so that I will not regret it afterward.

I moved to shere house. I lived with 4 people. It was the one of my dream to live share house. Sometimes we ate dinner together and talk to, so I spend a good time. I went to University of Washington. The library was beautiful looks like harry potter. February 14th was the Valentine's day. That was so different from Japan. In America, men also give chocolate to women. I think this is better than Japanese Valentine's day.

I went to Seattle downtown to count down to new year. Fireworks were launched from the space needle. The fireworks were so beautiful than I expected. Also, I went to the night club for the first time with my friends. It was fun and became good experiences for me. In addition, my friends took me to Bellevue to eat Japanese ramen. It was so good. I'm glad to hear my friends like Japanese food so much. I miss Japanese foods.

I went to Vancouver during winter vacation. I took the bus for 3 hours that was a little bit long but the bus was so cheap and comfortable. In Vancouver, I went to Stanley Park. The park was illuminated with a lot of beautiful light. The sight was awesome. Also, I went to Gas town. I bought lots of souvenir and ate dinner at the bar. Canadian people's way of speak English was a little bit different from American. So, their English was really interesting for me. Also, at the Christmas day, I spend a time with my host family. We ate dinner together with lots of relatives. Both my host family and relatives gave me presents. I was so surprised about American Christmas because they changed so many of presents each other!! I thought one person will get one present but they got about 5 presents even adults. I was so glad to spend Christmas in U.S.

The winter vacation was so long so, I went to Vancouver with my friends on Christmas eve. The sight was so beautiful there were decorated with Christmas illumination. We went to Gus town, Stanley Park and night market. That was so much fun. On Christmas day I went to the church with my host family. The Band music was awesome. At night, we had a party. I ate delicious foods and got bunch of present from host family and friends. I could have nice Christmas!

I went to hiking to Mt.rainer which is famous for rainier coffee. The mountain always is seen from my house so I was so excited to go there. It took about 4 hours by bus but the view was so beautiful and I had lots of fun. Also, I attended a Halloween party at school. Every student wore high quality costume and the party was so much fun. I had been helped to prepare the haunted house for about 2 weeks, so I was so busy, but we could make wonderful one. Thanks to the volunteer I could meet nice friends.

とうとう留学生活がはじまりました。ホストファミリーはお母さん、お父さん、おばあちゃん、11歳の息子がいます。家のルールは部屋を綺麗にしておくくらいであとは特にないです。アメリカンなオイリーな食べ物は思っていたより少なく、フィジーの国の人たちなのでお米をよく食べます。リクエストすれば日本食も作ってくれます。みんなとてお親切で部屋も広くておしゃれでとても住みやすい環境です。休みの日は家族みんなでお出かけに行ったり、買い物に連れて行ってくれます。家の近くにアジアンマーケットがあってそこで日本食や調味料が買えるのでとても便利です。学校は9月は授業が始まるまでの期間はオリエンテーションやパーティがあって、そこで友達をたくさんつくれました。アジア人が多くて、日本人も多かったです。バスで行ける距離に大きなモールがあるので休みの日や学校帰りに友達と買い物に行けます。気候は朝と昼、夜の温度差がとても大きいので服を選ぶのに困ります。日によっても違いますが朝はとても寒くて上着が必要ですが昼は半そででも平気なくらい暖かくなります。
